Chrome Web Store Reviewer Guide

This page describes how to review Notebook Extension. It does not contain test credentials.

Prerequisite

Use a reviewer-controlled Google account with access to NotebookLM, and sign in at https://notebooklm.google.com/ in the same Chrome profile. The Extension does not ask for or receive Google credentials.

Core current-page flow

  1. Open a public HTTP or HTTPS page.
  2. Open Notebook Extension.
  3. Open Destination notebook and choose an existing notebook.
  4. Select Add source.
  5. Confirm the completion state in the popup and the new source in NotebookLM.

Bulk-import flow

  1. Open the Extension tools page and choose Bulk import.
  2. Select a destination.
  3. Choose URLs, browser tabs, page links, YouTube playlist, or local files.
  4. Collect or select the items, then begin the import.
  5. Review per-item progress and error states.

Notebook-management flow

  1. Open Notebooks in the tools page.
  2. Refresh if required.
  3. Use Open to verify the selected notebook.
  4. Double-click or double-tap a title to test rename, then press Enter or move focus away to save.
  5. Generation controls require a notebook and feature availability in the reviewer’s NotebookLM account.

Permission summary

Site and browser permissions are used only after a user requests current-page capture, tab collection, page-link collection, YouTube collection, NotebookLM operations, a notification, or a PDF download. The current version has no Developer-operated analytics, account, payment, or content-processing server.
